Comitas Isla del Aire commits to certified quality and sustainability

We are pleased to announce that our hotel Comitas Isla del Aire has recently been certified under the international standards ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management), after successfully completing the audit process carried out by EUROCERT, an internationally accredited certification body.
This is the second hotel within the Comitas Hotels group to achieve these certifications, reaffirming our firm and ongoing commitment to improving our internal processes, delivering high-quality service to our guests, and showing respect for the environment. This milestone is the result of the collective effort of our entire team, led by Alba Lledó, Operations Director, whose role has been key in the planning, implementation, and daily management of these systems.
The ISO 9001:2015 standard ensures the implementation of a management system focused on continuous improvement, organizational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Meanwhile, the ISO 14001:2015 standard reflects our environmental responsibility, by integrating sustainable practices at all levels of our operations—from waste management to energy efficiency and the protection of the natural surroundings.
It is worth noting that the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system has been partially funded through support from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The hotel’s managing company, La Era Grande SL, was a beneficiary of this funding as part of the Pyme Innova Program led by the Chamber of Commerce of Mallorca, aimed at fostering technological development, innovation, and competitiveness in small and medium-sized enterprises. This initiative enabled the launch of an Action Plan throughout 2024 to strengthen our innovation capacity and market position.
